Memorial Day 2008: Photo Slideshow

In observance of Memorial Day 2008, Laurel Land Funeral Home and Memorial Park - Dallas held its annual festivities.  The remembrance celebration began at 10:00AM Kelvin Chamberlain, General Manager, welcomed everyone.  The MC for this year was Col. Homer Schmidt, Ret., former president of "Military Order of World Wars".  Chaplain (Col.) Ralph Smith was the keynote speaker at this year’s event.  This year’s highlights included vintage military memorabilia, vehicle displays and the placement of the wreath by this year’s "Gold Star Mother," Valreasia Brim.

As always, Laurel Land would like to thank everyone who helped to make this a very memorable day.  To the men, women and families of those who gave their lives for our country - WE THANK YOU ALL!
